Even so, technology had never been a big part of NV (or, well, the story). We don't see Boruto playing Dota 2 or whatever and saying that it's better than ninja battles

Technology level in NV had always been inconsistent (which was because Kishi made it so, deliberately); I'm sure they'd be happy with some new things, but I doubt there'd be too much of a difference. It's not like the new technology change their world radically - we still see them do ninja stuff, pretty much in the same manner as before.

But then again, it's not like we should take it seriously, Boruto is a kid after all.

Ya it's weird because even Chocho knew stuff about the Uchiha being a powerful clan, hence why she thought Sarada would have no trouble in the exams...

Maybe all the families talk about other clans but not their own lol
