Maturity doesnt correlate with shorter hair and no humor.Minato is a mature guy yet his hair style and humor were intact.In fact Hokage Minato looks 10x better than Hokage Naruto

2.In his childhood?

Also, what do you mean "better"? He was the most weakest minded Hokage ever, chose to kill himself with his waifu than raising the child as Isshin did. And no, he had choice and plenty of options, yet he chose the most selfish one. After all, who cares that he could either reseal the beast into Kushina and saving her life so at least Naruto's mother could stay alive or let Kushina seal back the fox which....... according later to chapter 663 it could easily save her life too, meaning both parents could stay alive (and unlike Naruto Kushina was not in a bad condition despite being ripped the bijuu, infact, she could happily spamming giant lances too).

Sure, physicaly he looked not bad, but not much better than Naruto did.

I am comparing Adult Minato and Adult Naruto in looks.Kid Naruto looks better than Kid Minato

Minato sealed the beast into Naruto because he planned Naruto to be the one to save the world and the one to tame Kurama.The child of prophecy so to speak
He is easily more independant and strong willed than Hiruzen who was influenced by Danz.

Also I was comparing Hokage Minato and Hokage Naruto in looks because I dont like Naruto's short hair.I would take Hokage Minato over him any day while I take Naruto over Minato in Part 1 and 2
