Though is that really bad? Most anime hairstyles are not realsitic ones, hence why some people have to use refined wigs to even cosplay them. Take DBZ for example, none of hairstyles make sense, or at least a good seventy percent of them. No one complains on it from what I have seen.

The hair is supposed to represent leaves, with his the stem at the top. Though I don't think is it an eyesore, and it compliments his outfit.

All the saiyans from DBZ with the exception of Trunks have bad ass hair which manages not to look like splattered banana peels

Apart from the character designs (the headbands are making the hair look bad for some reason) its hilarious how the "Crappy dad" is being made into such a huge plot point via promos and even chapter 700

So Boruto still calls his dad crappy? Looks like the pat on the head and the enduring speech didn't affect him at all. It's either Naruto is that busy, to the point where he doesn't pay much attention to his kid, or just boruto being a really conceited child. I personally am leaning towards the latter.
As for their designs, nothing spectacular. Boruto with the same outfit we already saw him in (+ a really funny hairstyle lol), and we just saw Sarada's full attire. Plus the head bands.

Naruto himself looks a bit boring to me. I mean I always liked him without a headband. Right back when he was young. As he grows older he gets smaller hair. Ruining that heroic look he used to have. Overall not happy with how Kishi is treating his main cast.

He recycled Madara for Sasuke, and Obito was copied from Naruto (take away the whiskers and paint the hair black, looks 100% like Obito. Endles did it before).

Honestly, the designs look freaking horrible. Boruto's is so bad it's funny, looks like someone glued bananas to his head, and for some reason they changed Sarada's haircut and made it even more emo. I also don't like her clothing.

Can't say I'm excited for this at all, but it's still marginally better than The Last.

I have seen dudes with wacky hair feel like mature men. The hair has nothing to do with how you turn out. I am aware of what he did with Madara and Obito. That still does not give him the excuse for making our main hero look like a boring dictator.

Yeah I actually liked him without the headband. But even with the headband he did not look as horrible as Baruto does right now.

That's because it is Kishimoto drawing the parallel for childish to maturity. Minato was in his twenties with that hairstyle, Naruto is his thirties or late twenties (29) according to the info of the ten year time-skip after the last. Boruto movie he will probably be 30.

Amma say what I say when people say that. Imagine Minato/Sasuke with short hair, I'm talking about like Naruto. He pulls it off nicely
