今回の岸本先生直筆コレクションでは、シンキとユルイを紹介！
他里合同中忍選抜試験で木の葉隠れの里にやって来たシンキたち。
手強いふたりに、ボルトらが大苦戦するぞ！

This time in Kishimoto-sensei's Jikihitsu Collection, we introduce Shinki and Yurui!
They came to Konohagakure from other villages for the joint Chunin Selection Exams.
Boruto and the others have a hard time fighting these formidable two!!

⬆ 砂隠れの里の下忍で、傀儡を操りながら戦う。全身を覆っている黒いマントは、砂鉄でできている 。

⬆ As a Genin from Sunagakure, he manipulates puppets to fight.
The black cloak that covers his whole body is made of Iron Sand.

⬇ 雲隠れの里の下忍。常にガムを噛んでおり、戦闘時はこのガムを膨らませて爆発させる術を繰り出 す。

⬇ A Genin from Kumogakure. He is always chewing gum and in fights,
he inflates that gum to unleash explosive techniques.

These guys are also pretty strong. These guys remind me of Gaara and his team when they introduced themselves to Team 7. Kishi loves them parallels. Hopefully they introduce themselves to Boruto's team in the same manner as the original one.

I think this is the second time we've gotten info on Shinki, and I'm pretty certain he isn't their kid now. I dunno, kid of the Kazekage sounds like something important to me?

He uses magnet release, so I think Gaara is the only one who could teach him (he got magnet release in Gaara Hiden). + Iron sand is the sandaime Kazekage's jutsu, which makes this interesting, maybe he has some connection to him?
