i dont know if someone has made a thread on this but it appears from the trailer that boruto throws his rasengan which means he may be close to already surpassing naruto since i recall it being said that it takes a lot of effort to propel chakra when naruto was using his rasenshuriken and boruto seems to be able to do so and he's still a kid

This sounds very possible. He is a prodigy after all plus Kishi has shown the new generation always surpasses the older one.
