Movie comes out in December and then the anime will continue. It wasn't stated anywhere that it would be cancelled, just that the current arc would finish in March and they would take a 9 month hiatus to work on the next chapter of the franchise.
Do you realise the difference between a hiatus and a cancellation? It's a good thing they went on a hiatus to come up with fresh ideas. If they wanted to we could have had a shit ton of filler episodes, about Goten and trunks facing poachers and master poachers on he island. Thankfully they didn't go the Boruto route. Unlike Boruto, DBS doesn't waste the viewer's time and gets right down to the action.
People have merit complaining about the anime, but the manga is actually pretty well done imo and much better organized and thought out
