The movie was actually really good, IMO. The villains were lackluster, but they were only a metaphor for using "cheat codes" to gain power, which was a tie-in to Boruto learning the value of hard work and perseverence. The movie itself was beautifully animated, and hit all the right nostalgic vibes from Part 1, while really developing the relationships and building on the character growth from Part 2. Honestly, it has a "heart" to it that was sorely missing from the end of the Manga.

If they put some panels of older Boruto's current situation in the next 2-3 chapters i'll be fine.

Well, i wouldn't be surprised if they recycle that design. This isn't the first time the manga has taken something from a filler...
