Is it the Kote device or just a strong lightning style jutsu. Remember boruto used kote device for a fairly simple lightining attack during the chunni nexams. That strikes me as overreliance on the device if he knew a stronger tech already.

Now we have an entire team that use lightning style attacks. And yes I do count Sarada due to her Storm feats, theres nothing out of the ordinary or outside the boundary of unlikely in that roster.

Boruto is shaping up to be a sick series. I'll miss the nostalgic sound of KANA-BOON but this OP has the featssss.

It's fairly likely we'll be getting movie adaptation here though if we ever get it, theres enough hints at the Naruto/Boruto themes in the OP. There's a slim chance that's the Kote device but here's hoping. If he learns a jutsu of that caliber here though? That does make his actions in the movie all the more unforgiveable.

Sarada already has lighting style the Boruto databook confirms that.

He is supposed to be able to use water lightning and wind. He boasted that much before the device.

In the manga I think he used lightning and water so far and in the anime he's used lightning (from his doujutsu at least)and wind in the previous episode. He doesn't seem all that good at wind yet though.
