He doesn't even need to follow the guideline from the notebook that was laid out by shino in order to be book-smart.

Boruto was able to adapt Hanabi fighting style into his own style. Boruto already knows 3 chakra nature affinity before going to learn rasengan. Heck Konohamaru was a shitty sensei, and he didn't teach him shit when he was mumbling the whole time with "eh". Even Sasuke didn't teach him shit when he only give him some demonstration with his marksmanship like itachi. Boruto never recieve any proper instruction like Naruto had. Naruto had the best sensei like Iruka, Ebisu, Jiriaya, and Kakashi w/yamato always giving him the best tutoring service he possibly get simpily because they give him alot of indepth and breakdown on ABC scenario and they keep repeat
the same step since Naruto had hard time understanding it.

Boruto never had proper teaching unlike Naruto. Despite how many times he skipped class and lack of training with barely any effort, Boruto is still the prodigy of the new gen.

Care to prove that it's Boruto's summoning, when konohamaru said there's no way Boruto could have produced the chakra to summon it? Boruto relied on Naruto chakra and Sasukes plan, cheated in the exam So relied on technology and got a free power up from Momoshiki so he's going to rely on that as well. Naruto learnt how to do 100s if not 1000 shadow clones on his own 1000 > 3. Remember war arc Naruto was Genin ranked as well. Boruto was taught everything from his Taijutsu, to the Rasengan and shadow clones, just cause it comes easier to him doesn't mean he wasn't taught.

That's what I wanted to point out, I don't think she could of done anything easier than using Kaiten, cause he was coming in from all directions.

Though he only he forced her b/c of the setup, without the clones, and in a real 1 on 1 match, she would just blitz him. But she gave him a chance to prove himself, and well, I think he did IMO.

Not saying it isn't a feat because it is same as Sasuke/Kakashi or Kakashi/Minato(i think was filler) pretty much all i was saying was she was just playing with him while also trying to make his "Byakugan" activate.

Naruto still beat his oppnenet, the mass clones was an over kill and was done cause of his poor chakra control. Kaiten was used just to show the audience that she could use it, no way was it because he cornered her.

Academy scored don't matter outside of the Academy, Naruto had the lowest, he still faught and beat people classed higher then him in rank and power.
