Because the beginning cover shows Boruto's seal, I think that was intentional. Regardless, he wasn't that weak. He picked off Boruto, who had to resort to using a smoke screen and shadow clone feint because he was just overwhelmed with his physical pressure.

That's not even counting the fact that Shojoji can apparently counter all of his techniques by reusing them, I was getting Momoshiki vibes for some reason.

Well it was stated he knows wind, lighting and water release. Glad to see these elements being used in the manga, Boruto solos.

Mitsuki probably also has Sasuke's talent...and may surpass him...oro confirmed that Sasuke was his greatest student...I don't see why oro created Mitsuki just to be below Sasuke...He MUST surpass Sasuke....
