If karma overwrites your dna why does it need to be activated to use it? I think Kawaki's dna was permanently changed because of his cyborg body. Boruto's dna is too powerful to be overwritten. He wouldn't have been able to override Momoshiki's transformation if 80% of his dna was already overwritten. Either Amando's knowledge of karma is incomplete or Boruto is a transcendent being.

Because it didn't fully overwrite your DNA yet and the full backup and chakra of the Otsutsuki is still in the Karma plus the consciousness.

DNA has nothing to do with the Ninja toys implemented to your body and it happened because of Karma.

If that's the case how did Momoshiki recently become able to take over when that wasn't the case before and have his physical features appear in Boruto.
