Sasuke training Bolt instead of his own Uchiha kid is comedy gold :lol Even he sees the potential of his eyes, so does Momoshiki and Toneri.

Sarada is a prodigy she can learn stuff on her own, but I think somewhere along the road he would teach her katon.

A time skip couldn't happen fast enough, but with the Manga's pacing, we are gonna be here for a few years.

Also the chapter comes out tomorrow night (maybe even some spoilers past midnight ... don't wait up for it tho).

I feel the same way about the Anime in regards to Boruto.

Like I'm talking about this over at Naruto Forums, but they literally did a 180 with his character personality in the Arc. I mean this dude was using TnJ, telling people to not give up, working hard, etc.

But that's not the same Boruto in the Movie. He was a lazy turd, who gave up easily, and HE needed to be TnJ'd.

Honestly the more that I'm going into the series, I'm realizing that this spin off was a giant mistake for everyone who isn't a Mitsuki fan. lmfao

lol shit is so forced. how the hell can you be sasuke yet still be naruto. also where is the parallel balancing? you can't give all the chips to just one protagonist. toriyama did that crap with goku and the fans heavily backlashed the hell out of it especially in the buu saga. lmao. mitsuki or sarada I guess better be more involved. kawaki perhaps?

I liked the fact that Boruto (in the movie) wasn't interested in conforming to the expectations of other characters but still wanted to impress Naruto and showcase his abilities. He did things gis own way...

He really does. It low key feels like Naruto cloned himself. Like I got just the bare minimum of Boruto Movie Boruto in this arc.

The first few episodes were strong, but it digressed.

I liked the fact that Boruto (in the movie) wasn't interested in conforming to the expectations of other characters but still wanted to impress Naruto and showcase his abilities. He did things gis own way...

Honestly Movie Boruto was a good step up from the ordinary protags b/c:

> He didn't preach about hard work or to never give up, because he didn't do this
> He was just simply a brat, meaning he's unlikable to most. Most MC's are likable characters who people have to white knight. Not Boruto.
> Was actually talented, which was a step up from Naruto's era.
> Took short cuts, which again was a perfect idea for an MC because most MC's advocate in the beginning that short cuts and being lazy are terrible attributes for a person.

Current Boruto is like a fan fiction version of himself.

I think they are just talking about his ninja path. Like Boruto's is Naruto's son, but he's already trained by Sasuke. So that's probably what they meant by the explanation. I mean this was pretty clear when Boruto said he wanted to be a ninja like Sasuke, who supported the Hokage. But he's also Naruto's son, so that's why I always thought he was gonna be similar to them both.

In regards to powers, I think he'll have more of Naruto's skill set, because obviously he doesn't have a Sharingan or a Rinnegan. But I think the eye and seal combination will have him differ from them both. However, I'm not getting my hopes up with this spin off.

They've shown time and time again that when they wanna do something new or interesting, it's the complete opposite.

The Boruto portrayed in the first arc, or even in the most recent episode, is one that isn't willing to leave any classmate/comrade behind, even one that was planning on trying to blow up the village. Yet when we get to the movie, Boruto shows no interest in registering for the Chunin exams despite knowing that Sarada and Mitsuki need his participation to advance. It almost seems like reverse character development. That and the fact that the both the anime and manga retroactively add powers/scenes that were never hinted at in the original movie :/

lol ig we got to see because we've seen 3 diff boruto so far academy arc , movie boruto , and future boruto and they all diff I just want to know what happens to make him that, I wonder did he lose himwarria(however u spell her name ), even during the manga we see after the movie rehash when boruto meets the lil rich kid , he starts to become motivated again. so I think ikemotto gone connect it all together somehow lol

As long as he isn't completely like either Naruto or Sasuke, they can make something original out of this. I mean Kishimoto has spoke that most of these next generation characters are: Clones of their parents, or combinations of their parents.

Boruto is just a combination of Naruto and Sasuke, but that isn't a terrible idea because being too much Naruto is a bad idea, and being too much like Sasuke is cloning. But if they can somehow mix their personalities, and still have a character be 'different', then it could be something interesting.

Though I expect them to fail, because Naruto sucks.

Agreed. Unless they show some type of dissection now where Boruto becomes more similar to his Movie persona, then this writing makes absolutely no sense what's so ever. I can't understand what they are doing.
