Seems to have a soft spot for Hinata, and does as he is asked, bringing the food to Naruto. Even when he was reluctant to meeting up with Naruto. Definitely in a good respectful relationship with his mother.

Boruto saying he wasn't planning on meeting up with Naruto

Boruto gives the food to Salada, after hearing Bento is a meal
prepared by a loved one which Boruto seemed to acknowledged. Boruto clearly didn't want to give the food to Naruto since he wasn't there to receive it, but thought about his mother and allowed Salada to deliver it.

Really relieved he is respectful towards her
Did we have any doubt? He doesn't really hate any of his parents.

Just being a 'brat' because he wants to spend more time with his father. More interested in how he develops after that.

No I knew that he doesn't hate them I just wasn't sure if he'd have such a good relationship to where he does something she asked him to despite him being reluctant to do it. You can really tell that he loves Hinata a lot
And the deal with him and Naruto, to be honest I think Boruto just wants Naruto to acknowledge him as a prodigy and someone to be taken seriously

Maybe he hates Naruto because he's never there for Hinata

Hate is a strong word with a lot of meanings behind it.

I'd say that he doesn't like the way his father acts, although it's questionable. He is the hokage after all.

OT: that hinata, she's like my mother.

That's what I've been thinking.

Wouldn't make sense because Boruto out right states in Chapter 700 that he wants his father to spend time with him, and he does the same in Chapter 700+1.

When Sarada states that Bento are prepared by a loved one, Boruto recalls Hinata and he probably noticed the effort she took to make that meal for Naruto, which is why Boruto submits to Sarada after her plea to bring the meal to his father.

Yea not hate but dislike, it seems that he sees his father as a hypocrite, saying he's there for Konoha when he's not there for his family
