Think about it, Boruto wouldn't have to rely on OP Dojutsu like MS/EMS or Rinnegan where a prodigy like Sasuke or Itachi had to ended up relying too much ocular power that takes almost no effort to beat strong opponents.
We all know 3T can do alot more than Byakugan which mean he will be even better as a prodigy.
Byakugan only gives him observation and x-ray vision which does almost nothing but to be aware of the situation and can be put a good use to his skills and talents where he has to rely on himself to know his surrounding and performing his own techniques and his intellect. He's definately not like his shitty incompetent father who only gets burrowed powerup Kyuubi to beat opponents each and every time.
My greatest fear is that if Bolt gets kurama chakra that would simply defeat the whole purpose of being a prodigy.
