Even the rasengan blow was powered by Naruto

Boruto contributed with the vanishing Rasengan move, a move that Sasuke said was tactically needed for Boruto to go compared to other people in Konoha


who knows what will happen with EOS new gen kids though as it is up to the author

Although I agree it was the most BS defeat in the history of the manga it is still attributed to a kid. Sasuke taking Boruto was also BS but that's another topic altogether.
