Toneri was always canon Kishimoto said the last was chapter 699.5 etc don't feel like going over this again. Anyway the anime only watchers are gonna need a flashback to explain who toneri is, glad he's involved I wanna see him do something now that he's not hellbent on kidnapping women for their bloodlines and blowing up earth!

omg the NH family together, naruto holdin himawaris hand, hanabi and hiashi with the kids, i loved every second of it
hanabi looks pretty cute with the long hair and outfit, i wish they'd give her a more adult look, she still looks like a teenager, but shes suppose to be in her mid 20s assuming shes only a few yrs younger than hinata. and damn was borutos drama speech with the sunglasses funny

Damn this episode was dope in my opinion. Gives us allot of character development here, and how Boruto is like a super genius (intelligence), I really love this kid, he's a pretty interesting kid one day he turns bratty in the momoshiki arc, then when It comes to the munjaal ninjas or whatever he's became a chill person, and we never had a chill kid Naruto XD, but anyway episode is 10/10. Can't wait for Boruto to start soloing on some asses.

Its was good, a solid 4/5. Shame the animation took a hit because of that shit episode last week but whatever. Glad thats Toneri is back, and with him its all but confirmed that Boruto eye is connected to the tenseigan. Now hopefully Gaiden/Boruto movie crap fly's by quickly so the anime can get more interesting.

the new boruto anime starts before naruto chapter 700 and before gaiden manga chapter 1, and then goes past the movie as well. so chronologically it looks like this:
boruto anime -> chapter 700 (graduation) -> sarada's gaiden manga -> movie/boruto manga --> return to boruto anime with timeskip of him and kawaki

so basically they have the beginning and end of the boruto series, and theyre just filling in the middle gaps right now, it probably will follow the manga story eventually, since kawaki's debut is also in the manga as it is in this new anime
