I remember when Naruto Gaiden came around, people were speculating that it was going to be about Boruto/Himawari + Hyuuga Clan. Turned out it was about Sarada + Shin's + Sharingan's.

Everyone was bashing them saying that the Hyuuga would stay irrelevant.

But it's funny how it turned out the official first arc of the Boruto series chronologically is a Hyuuga-centered arc

I myself was really salty at Gaiden focusing on the Uchiha for the billionth time, but in hindsight, with how awful that mini-series became and what we're getting with the anime, I'm relieved. Can't wait to see adult Hanabi and granpa Hiashi.
