Of course the 2 episodes that will probably explain Nue and Boruto's Eye, the 2 major plot points of this arc, gets shit animation because SP thought it was a good idea to throw their budget at an episode where some weirdo stalks his crush and gets tnj will little effort. Bunch of clowns honestly.

It's always like this. I understand that most of the Japanese animation studios can't maintain a constant animation but at least they should prioritize on which episodes to throw good animation into, even a 15 year old could have a good sense of judgement. WTF is wrong with them, some of us are paying for it.

Can't believe the level of hate in this thread... Cho Cho was awesome in this episode, and it gave us a much better sense of her character. The rest was just a lighthearted school life episode, but the plot advanced slightly. I get that people are eager for the much-hyped Hyuga Arc, but keep some perspective. This first season is all about introducing us to the new cast, and this episode accomplished that.

Yes, because we expect something good from it. Today's storyline wasn't the main problem, what irritated us what the irrational use of the animation. They could've used it on next week's episode where it would've mattered.

That thing disappears when you can get past and face your insecurities and it seems to steal your Chakra

And it seems Mitsuki is working for oro to investigate boruto

The episode was not shit. It really depends on your particular interest and what type of anime genre you are interested in. Right now Boruto is a slice of life drama and I honestly believe it's so childish because it isn't targeted for the previous generation of fans.

It did however just feel like some filler episode from Naruto shippuden but it wasn't shit in my opinion. I didn't find anything particularly interesting and would much rather get onto to Boruto exploring his Hyuga lineage than some stalker character we probably won't hear much from. Regardless, it was still enjoyable despite it's slow burn plot right now.

God knows when we're going to the nitty gritty cause I'm not interested in the animation for Gaiden either. I just want some actual ninja things happening like Naruto had. I'll be glad AF to sacrifice Naruto or Hinata to get it too.
