Awww come on man. Sumire looks scared, it seems she saw something that creeped her out. It looks dark to me. Wasabi and Namibia are going to fight too. There will be blood, characters exploding and even trees will bleed.

I think that during the fight blood splatters will be thrown at the screen just to show how violent, dark and mature Boruto has become.

Yep the plot twist is that Wasabi and Namibia are brutally murdered this episode. That is why we don't see them later and Sumire is forced to work in Katsuke's lab since she no longer has any teammates.
