Wow what the fk did Boruto summon *_* . And Mitsuki finally appeared in the end of the episode!! Great episode nice action and plot

Episode was garbage because the writing was awful.

It was only good if you were amazed by the bright colors and flashy lights. Seriously the only interesting thing that happened was in the last couple of seconds, but the overall episode wasn't that great.

I'll give it a 2/5 for trying, but it deserves lower. I think episode 3 peaked in terms of comedy, and overall just being enjoyable. Episode 2 was rough, and episode 1 was only a good benchmark because of the flash forward.

Mitsuki is most likely going to save us from academy boredom. Still, the episode was trash.

Exactly! I mean what was the point of hyping Boruto and Sarada in the previous preview? I know the episode was about boys vs girls but the preview gave the impression that it might focus on their relationship and what did we get? Boys being belittled by girls and vice versa and girls won with boys now listening to them without complaints. Sure they now respect each other now but that was sooo weak! I know there are hints that Boruto and Sarada are beginning to respect each other but felt like it is still the beginning.
Forgive my ranting because I honestly expected Boruto and Sarada's relationship to develop but that was lackluster and waste of hype.

I know the anime didn't finish yet, but still here it was executed rather poorly and looks as though it is only beginning. I just hope it gets better in future eps.

I am kind of pissed at how poorly they portrayed Sarada. She hardly got any focus the first three episodes so this is pretty much her introduction in the anime as a character and for a future main character it was lacking to say the least. He characterization initially comes down to nagging Bort and then arguing with him over a stupid sandwich which just seems dumb on both their parts. I guess they used to hang out before maybe but don't like each other or whatever but that is not explained at all. My problem is how poorly she was shown in the test. She is the daughter of the legendary Uchiha Sasuke. She should have a great showing but it was lackluster at best. She easily got caught in Shikadai's shadow justsu and simply runs with the other girls without any strategy. She also easily falls into Inojin's trap with the girls as well. The only thing she did is show she is good with shuriken's which is something but not much when it only even accomplished anything because Lee froze up. The episode was hyping Bort vs Sarada like their parents and yet in the end they don't fight at all outside of arguing at the beginning. The Boys were coming up with all these nice strategies while the girls just charged ahead with no strategy. It was plot no jutsu that the guys didn't simply easily get the flag before the girls even got there with the way the episode went. I wanted Sarada to show she was smart and truly skilled with a decent move set like Bort has shown the last few episodes. In the end she threw some shuriken's while Bort showed he can summon and watched Bort heroically rescue her friend while she just stood there. Since the next few episodes seem like she will be irrelevant she simply seems like one of the filler girls with a little skill as opposed to a true future main character so far.

Yeah it was empty hype. Boruto and Sarada didn't even makeup, and the boys willingly just gave up despite the fact that they were busy saving Cho-Cho. Yet girls had to win because: Reasons

Worst part was seeing Iwabee getting one shot by Cho Cho's expansion jutsu at the very start of the match. Metal Lee, and then the rest of off screen fodder boys :lol

I just finished watching new boruto episode and it was actually kind of ok even so the episode was little funny it was allright to yet again this is just the begining of the story hope there will be better episodes later

There were only couple things in this episode that I liked
First of all, Konohomaru's status as a teacher is highly appreciated
Secondly, we finally see Mitsuki in the end of the episode

Overall, the rating for the episode is 3

Eh, 5/10 for me. It was still interesting to see how Boruto's character is unfold, i.e what he was summoning at the end. I felt like the 'girls vs boys' could have been pulled off more effectively in how it was done, other than a simple 'capture the flag'. However it was nice to see Boruto and Shikaida and whats-his-face working together, they make a nice team I feel

The most interesting thing is the come back of the symbol that appeared in episode 1 before Denki was bit by a snake that looks like Mitsuki' s sage mode snakes.Now we saw that symbol before Boruto summons the beast from the scroll he stole, and that beast has a tail that looks exactlty like the snake that bit Denki and somewhat like Mitsuki' s sage mode snakes.

Then, Metal caught the shurikens of the best thrower of the class with his naked hands! Metal is a prodigy that surpasses Lee at the same age.
