A big saving grace would be for Boruto to be a killer like Sasuke who doesn't take nobody shitHopefully Boruto grows up to be a G like his master.

I feel like Mitsuki is probably the one to fill that role, like Kakashi was for Naruto, but Boruto is setup to be a 180 from Naruto so it's a possibility.A big saving grace would be for Boruto to be a killer like Sasuke who doesn't take nobody shit.
I think so as well. Mitsuki will probably be a gateway towards that, if anything. Because he exemplifies what a ninja is in terms of mercy and forgiveness. Though I wonder if he has changed since joining the group...I feel like Mitsuki is probably the one to fill that role, like Kakashi was for Naruto, but Boruto is setup to be a 180 from Naruto so it's a possibility.
For all we know, Mitsuki is going to be the Jugo to Boruto's Sasuke.
The only reason I have hope for Boruto is the possibility of him not being Naruto 2.0.
Good luck with that if we go by the Kawaki scan it implies Boruto has tried tnj already, and is still trying to talk to kawaki. Even him talking to Kawaki is something Naruto would do, if that was Sasuke there wouldn't have been much talking just solo or kill shots.I feel like Mitsuki is probably the one to fill that role, like Kakashi was for Naruto, but Boruto is setup to be a 180 from Naruto so it's a possibility.

What?and is still trying to talk to kawaki
I think Boruto agreeing with Kawaki and then stating that he'll defend the shinobi name says a lot more than him trying to change his opponent's opinion.Even him talking to Kawaki is something Naruto would do, if that was Sasuke there wouldn't have been much talking just solo or kill shots.
If you say so, a question is asked to open dialogue for reasoning. Reasoning with somebody is the basis for TNJ.What?
What?

Where is Boruto reasoning with Kawaki? If you say so, a question is asked to open dialogue for reasoning. Reasoning with somebody is the basis for TNJ.
No shit. Some body has destroyed the village yet your still trying to talk to him
I don't see Boruto agreeing with kawaki, I must've missed something anyway the point of TNJ still stands.
I don't see Boruto arriving after Kawaki did the business. Only questioning the extent of the business.Where is Boruto reasoning with Kawaki?

If you see someone you knew, destroy your Village, you would probably want to answers. Boruto seems surprised that Kawaki did this.

"I guess this was the only possible outcome"
"Yes. The age of shinobi is over"
"Even so...."
Boruto literally says "I can't believe you went this far Kawaki" while standing on the Hokage monument. Indicating that he just found out this happened.I don't see Boruto arriving after Kawaki did the business. Only questioning the extent of the business.
And Boruto says right after "I guess this was the only possible outcome", ending the open dialogue.Boruto asks"did things really have to turn out like this?"
Boruto agrees after coming to the conclusion, hence the ending of the argument with Boruto putting on the headband, and powers up..And if Boruto agrees with kawaki he already knows what he was planning so asking a question is pointless.
The first part doesn't confirm anything it's just that Boruto didn't expect kawaki to go this far. So we can't establish if Boruto was there or wasn't although judging by Boruto's injuries he was likely battling kawaki and was there. As Kawaki is a little roughed up as well.Boruto literally says "I can't believe you went this far Kawaki" while standing on the Hokage monument. Indicating that he just found out this happened.

They don't seem to be having a debate on the topic. It's just Boruto be surprised he went this far, Boruto coming to the conclusion that this had to happen 'I guess', and Boruto re-confirming that he's a ninja so he'll fight for the shinobi life.
Whether he kills him is on the author tho
Yes it does lmao. Boruto stating he cant believe Kawaki did something, means he wasn't aware of what he did until he met hin in person. Hence why he's stating it now. Unless somehow Boruto was in the Village while it was being destroyed and watched as he did itThe first part doesn't confirm anything it's just that Boruto didn't expect kawaki to go this far. LOL. What on Earth are you talking about. Boruto says "even so" after he says yes. Ending the debate right there. The dialogue ends after kawaki says Yes ending room for TNJ. Boruto pretty much agrees after that. If Boruto was there judging by his injuries and witnessed Kawaki solo the village then in that context attempted TNJ took place.
How should I know? Boruto doesn't seem like he's disagrees with what Kawaki is saying. But is probably fighting him because he's a evil person who destroyed his home.My question to you Indra is do you think this fight won't end with TNJ and Kawaki regretting what he did? Excluding Kawaki defeating Boruto.
