Great episode but i expected Boruto vs Kagura to be longer . I hope denki dies and also so many mysteries concerning kagura . This episode confirms Kagura is related to Yagura. Since Iwabe said Yagura KARATACHI as his last name

The beach scene with Boruto and Sarada was pretty overhyped since they barely spoke before Kagura came in.

Iwabe was lit. Best guy of the new gen.

Pretty solid episode, I was expecting the fight to be longer though.

Honestly kind of disappointed that Sumire's character went back to being this irrelevant shy useless girl, when she's apparently this bad-ass strong ninjutsu user. Like, why is she still hiding behind a mask?

Iwabe's backstory was kind of meh for me. Didn't really buy this whole "Getting mad cause my Grandpa died when the Villages hated each other" backstory. They could pull this for 99% of the cast. It's not really high tier angst material, I was hoping his parents would have been killed or something, that would make his misplaced anger more believable. I'm only saying this because he attacks people who want Kirigakure to change too. He needs to chill.

Anyway it was pretty solid. Kenjutsu match was interesting. Also the Boruto and Sarada scene was kind of unexpected -- Judging by the Movie Arc and what I know is going to happen, it looks like Boruto and Sarada is the series OTP I guess. Every chance they get they have to interact with each other. SP playing no games

I could of swore she was stuttering last episode.

That's kind of my final straw with her. I don't dislike her or anything, but if SP want to make her less bad-ass than she's capable. No point in looking forward to her.

Especially for screen time sake. I know the Nue will come back eventually, even more so if Sumire appears in the Manga. But I can't really look forward to wasted potential. They basically geared up Team Konohamaru as the main's of the show since the Academy Arc, the new characters from Kirigakure are sharing space and the rest of Konoha are just filing the gaps. Sumire went from best girl to no-show just cause.

I'm guessing when this Arc is over, they'll graduate. If they drag out another Academy Arc, I can call it right now, this Anime will flop hard. The field trip is the saving grace here from people not losing their minds at how boring it is, if this Arc was staged in Konohagakure, would of dropped this Anime.

Regardless it's moving forward. I suspect by November/December we'll already be hitting the Chunin Exam stage. October + ??? = Team Arcs.

give it time she may do something later on. anyway i'll always prefer new good content over boruto movie remake. this arc is already shaping to be a very good one. why the rush? i want more character depth before they all separate into teams

Yeah I don't need Sumire to be a main character (I wouldn't mind) but Sumire's basically 'Class Rep' now. She should of became more confident and bad-ass, but still holding a piece of her old personality.

Right now she's only 'soft and gentle class rep', it feels like she's still hiding behind a mask because of how reverted she acts. SP don't know how to handle characters correctly even if they aren't supposed to be relevant.

I'd rather have Sumire being more serious in the background than having Sumire studder and be too nice. We literally saw this girl attempting to murder the entire Village and now she's out here tending to boo boo's.

if u think about even when Sumire was fighting mitsuki and boruto u can tell she has this personality. look at her facial exxpression when boruto jumped between her and mitsuki the second time then before that u can see her facial expression when mitsuki made her fall. She has that atmosphere even when she is serious
