Boruto Episode 2 Summary

Boruto, who is reprimanded after the incident that occurred during the Entrance Ceremony, is attending the Academy for the first time. However, his classmates’ eyes are frosty towards Boruto since he’s the son of the heroic 7th Hokage who has already been punished. Of the students, Boruto tries to pick a fight with Iwabee, a classmate who was held back a year due to poor behavior, but gets ignored.

Iwabee is the guy Boruto is seen fighting in the preview. I figured he was older than them based on his design.

Too much Boruto in these episodes. It's annoying tbh. At least be like Naruto and introduce Sarada and Mitsuki is the begening episodes.

The first arc is establishing Boruto's character; But Sarada and the rest of them will be prominent as the 'side' characters.

Rest assured that most likely the Naruto Gaiden might be animated.

I call them side characters because it seems like Boruto's main trio (outside of Shikidai) consists of Denki, Iswabee guy, and that purple-haired girl.

Mizuki never shows up again so your logic is lacking quite a bit.

Mizuki was the 1st villian in Naruto albeit defeated in the 1st episode. Hiruzen had an impact in the 1st episode same as Iruka everything from that 1 episode had people hyped for more. Then they brung in more characters in episode 2/3 etc. As is now like in the OP the next episode is gonna be all Boruto again.

They already introduced some kind of filler-ish villain snake energy thing. So it will probably take focus after they introduce Boruto/Next generation more,

Hopefully. It's just that even tho it's his anime/manga it's annoying watching an anime that's only about 1 dude. Even if it's the first 2. If not more episodes. They should have taken the Naruto route imo and made Boruto do something impressive(tho the eye could count) but it wasn't anything that can get you hooked.
