We still have gaiden before we get that and what else is there really to show besides just filler shenanigans?Christ, I still can't believe that after a single arc they're skipping straight to the academy graduation. It's a huge mistake![]()

This sounds like a fun idea:lolI wanna see them try and bust her out of jail, epic!
I never win do ISo? 15 episodes are enough bro . It's time for gaiden and Kawaki soloing
Well getting the sarada and mitsuki gaiden stories give it enough time to pump out new material and stay ahead and we might get some filler stories before chunin examI never win do I_@:
lmao but no I get it, I do. I'd much rather see Gaiden and the Boruto manga animated. The only reason why I strongly advocate/wished the anime stayed in the academy days for as long as they possibly could, is because more than anything else I don't want another f*cking Naruto Shippuden xD The anime already has the deck stacked against it, with really only the Gaiden and the Movie readily adaptable—the manga is monthly, which is a HUGE disadvantage against the anime. Either we're going to get another Shippuden where the anime was literally around 50% filler (potentially more in this case since the manga is monthly), or we're going to get a Dragon Ball Super situation; and I don't know if you watch/read DBS but every week I remain on the fence if I should drop the anime and stick to the manga only because the quality/execution/attention to detail (like power scaling) is just so atrocious, meanwhile the manga may be far slower but it does not fail any of those three categories (especially attention to detail, like damn the manga often has to do straight up damage control for the shit the anime does xD).
Obito redeemed himself by saving Kakashi and NAruto while Sumire is just a crap character. If Naruto can forgive Obito who killed his parents, killed the Uchiha Clan, started the fourth great ninja war, killed Neji and countless shinobis but refuses to forgive Sumire, he would be the coolest guy ever.

That's what worries me xD If the solution is to simply—add a filler arc, let the manga get ahead by like 3 chapters, animate those 3 chapters, repeat—then this will be even more unbearable than Shippuden was. This may sound hypocritical, but I'm actually not against filler. It's a necessity, and if used correctly then it is more than possible to get filler arcs with great stories. But there are times like a show will come about like Naruto or Bleach where they take advantage of this necessity and this leads to filler abuse (lmao). Part of what leads to dogsh*t filler episodes is having to take so many frequent breaks from the canon to tell filler stories; and unlike the canon, I've never heard of filler arcs which plots are paused while the canon is animated and then resumed once the need for filler returns. Usually filler episodes are self-contained stories (for efficiency) or maybe have two-parts and sometimes an entire arc is planned out. Who knows, maybe my idea of planning out a long-running filler plot with a great story rather than individual episodes is the key to having the best of both worlds.Well getting the sarada and mitsuki gaiden stories give it enough time to pump out new material and stay ahead and we might get some filler stories before chunin exam
I feel you and hopefully they take these concerns into considerationThat's what worries me xD If the solution is to simply—add a filler arc, let the manga get ahead by like 3 chapters, animate those 3 chapters, repeat—then this will be even more unbearable than Shippuden was. Plus, I don't know I guess I'm the only one with this mindset (as I've repeated myself quite a lot across various threads), but I don't view the current Boruto anime arc as filler. Nor would I consider any other arcs set in the academy days filler, since the academy days are a total grey area in the timeline. So I see the episodes as filling in that necessary gap and typically speaking they have total freedom to do whatever they want really since most of these side characters we don't even see in the Movie or the manga. Once they start having to create filler outside this little bubble they have though, are we going to keep getting decent-great quality stories or are we gonna pull a Shippuden and start having adventures with ninja Ostriches?
