The Nue has to actually bite you to take your chakra, it would have been destroyed quicker if Naruto used Rasenshuriken on the summoning. That probably would have detonated it. Went back to the destroy the leaf/revenge is all I need/tnj nonsense. 1/5

Edit: I guess they want Boruto to "save" his classmate that's why they didn't have the other actual ninjas deal with the Nue or Mitsuki. Plus Ninjutsu would have destroyed the summoning.

its quite obvious that even trying to defeat it with a large chakra based attack would make NUE detonate,and even then,the only attack that could repel it is teleporting it away with kamui like properties,one which even Sasuke doesnt possess.
Naruto's chakra is very powerful,getting even a little of it would make Nue very large,since it got bigger by taking liitle from those chunnin's,hence the need to approach with caution.
Even if Sasuke was there,i am 100 percent positive that there wouldnt be anything he would achieve,unless he makes a portal and is able to drive Nue into it without it taking a little bite out of it's Chakra.

Plot made Naruto useless & the whole concept of using Nue for a kamekaze attack is so weak.

Mitsuki is badass, I'm liking him more and more.

Lastly, I really wonder about Borutos eye. He seems to have a more natural connection to the Nue since he summoned it once before and now he unconsciously teleported it away.

Also how did Mitsuki make it to the other world too? Snake clone that was attached to them?

& interesting that Orochimaru gave up his desires for research for the peace of the village. Demanding Mitsuki to now kill Sumire.

I know right? watch Naruto fans play it off. Naruto lacks versatility. Imagine Sasuke in that same scenario, he's got options.
1. Chibaku tensei
2. Send nue to another dimension
3. shinra tensei the beast away from the village
4. Rinnegan Genjutsu

Boruto actually used one of those options even though he had no idea what he was doing.

Note: Boruto's doujutsu is broken so far.

Chibaku Tensei would have destroyed the village. Amenotejikara is not like Kamui, it can't send anything anywhere. It can just open a portal to kaguya's dimension while draining a lot of users chakra. Shinra Tensei is something Sasuke has never shown, and regardless it would destroy nearby surroundings. Rinnegan Genjutsu might or might not have worked, depending on the plot. So Sasuke would have been as useless. Further, preta path is useless against someone like Naruto who is a chakra monster, it would take too long to suck him dry. Hell even momoshiki couldn't do it. I guess Naruto could have used summoning food cart destroyed jutsu to restrain it but I guess even that would have been risky as nue could have bitten the toads and sucked their chakra. Only thing I see naruto and Sasuke doing here is blowing that chimera to bits, but then again it has got regeneration so who knows whether it will work or not. It would be too risky as well. The best characters to handle such situation are Hashirama and minato.
PS: The episode was meh. Too many CIS and PIS to count. Plus the nerf is too strong. Naruto could have just blitzed it, Odama rasenganed it into the atmosphere. In fact, sage naruto could have easily dealt with it. Could have thrown it away and rasenshurikened it to destroy each and every cell of nue. But I guess kishiton plot no jutsu was too strong. Hell what's the point of Naruto being the meeting place of all Bijuus when he can't even summon their power anymore?? With shukaku's sealing power he could easily deal with such situations, let alone gudoudamas. Sasuke was nerfed to shit in Shinden, and now it's Naruto's turn to get nerfed. Rubbish. 2/5.

Pretty good episode and we kakashi around still trying to help the village and debut of purple lightning.

It's still not guaranteed whose mitsukis working for is oro it could be kabuto.

Also I don't think boruto has a s/t technique I think it just reacted to the chakra and did a reverse summoning and probably the reason boruto summoned it the first time was sumiere was so close.

Also interesting the purpose of the nue is to be a bomb and danzos clan already had a technique like that
