Stop spreading false info. You can call a fighting style Gentle Fist, when attacks can actually block Tenketsu. This is possible ONLY with Byakugan, since it's the only reliable way of targeting chakra points.

The thing Boruto did was he released some chakra from his palm in a similar fashion Hyuuga do, but it was not Gentle Fist!

Read the Manga. Byakugan only helps Gentle Fist because it lets you see the Tenketsu. All this means is that Boruto can utilize the fighting style, but not to it's full effect because he can't see the Tenketsu.
