Seems like they really want go down the ninja technology road. It is getting more development each chapter that goes by.

Autonmous puppets were used by Toneri first. I'm wondering if this whole thing is just a coincidence or if it will tie into his role.

I think the puppets in the chapter are different from Toneri's. Apparently, they lean more towards technology, like robots or something like that.
