Hyped for the new Gen.
I don't understand you, Indra.
Hey Solo, I'm glad I found your post. Here is a question that will sound really wierd, but:
Do you study quantum mechanics by any chance? I ask because I once had this dream. For whatever reason, I was in this random gym where everyone was playing basketball. In the corner however, I saw this boy sitting in the corner. He looked young and he somewhat resembled that boy Jordan from the Bernie Mac show. I went to go talk to that boy. We got to talking about our interests, and I told him that I read/watched Naruto, and also that I went on a manga forum called Narutobase. To my surprise, not only did the boy say that he also kept up with Naruto, but he revealed that he too was a member of this base. He said, "I'm Solo from Narutobase".
That is right: He claimed to be you!
Anyway, he and I (or rather you and I) continued talking about our interests, and I eventually told you that aside from reading/watching manga/anime, I also like studying quantum mechanics. You said that you liked quantum mechanics as well, so I started telling you about my escapades with solving the various forms of the Schrodinger equation. When I told you that I solved the equation, you asked me if I used Oppenheimer's theorem to do so.
That is the last thing that I remember from the dream (I believe my alarm clock also went off soon after this point and woke me up). However, even after I had awakened, your usage of the words "Oppenheimer's theorem" resonated with me. This is because, despite the fact that I had heard about Robert Oppenheimer before, I had long since forgotten about that name and I had never even heard of any theorems from him or any contributions to the field of quantum mechanics. Since at the time I had been looking for a way to solve a certain quantum mechanical situation, I decided to look up the name Robert Oppenheimer to make sure he existed (as opposed to me having just made up the name in my dream) , and to see if he had any theorems.
From what I found... he existed but he did not have anything to do with quantum mechanics and I could not find any theorems from him. He was actually one of the participants in the Manhattan project.
Nevertheless, it was an interesting experience because I never expected to meet you in a dream and re-learn the name of a scientist that I had long since forgotten about.
What do you think of this?
