The comparison is perfect. Sakura knew she had not the strength to face Gaara but she did so regardless to save her Teammate. Boruto on the other hand thought he had the strength to face Zetsu but boy was he wrong.

Sakura only jutsu she knew at the time was substitute jutsu, while Boruto got multiple jutsu and elements. Boruto can combine his element to his weapons, which is awesome.

Sakura knew how to break out of genjutsu, something Boruto can’t do.

That’s a double negative. I’ve been watching and it looks like Sakura seems to a very “OP” character in your type of character favorites and point of view, therefore commending Boruto for his wits and skills. Or stating that Sakura really is a useless crying b!tch, so it’s either those two.
