You know the context of it was, Sarad and Boruto isn't gonna happen. If Sumire Boruto dont then you and I both know it's Mitsuki Boruto who're getting married, if Boruto doesn't die before the end of the series. He practically lives Boruto, breathes Boruto sleeps Boruto, licks Boruto and wants to eat Boruto.

Of course he'd compare her to Hima since theure the two he's mostly around who can kill him. At Home it's Hima and on team 7 it's Sarada. Your over reading it.
I know Boruto and Mitsuki have the strongest relationship of all. As for Boru/Sara it's more like Jiraiya and Tsunade except there's no actual interest on Boruto's part, so it's pretty neutral. Also a team mate realtionship is too repetitive and blatant.
Sumire was going gaga so I'm going with her or Mitsuki and Boruto because of other factors.
Either way we'll find out what happens by the end if Boruto doesn't die (I have a feeling he'll die).

I am surprised the same dynamic relatively being ran with by majority who opposed it in it's original form. Will be interesting to see how they play things out this time.
Seems this series is trying to do it how they felt it should have been done but with the newbies instead. I guess the personality clash no longer matters

But they're relationship is platonic , Sarada isn't concerned about relationships , except for her relationship with Sakura and Sasuke ,
Boruto is to Sarada as shizune is to Tsunade

Uzumaki will always be their last names, even with Boruto being as much Hyuga as Sarada is Uchiha.

Sumire's talking to Boruto, she looks at him, the two make eye contact and Sumire instantly gets overwhelmed. Sumire turns is panting and blushing, she's overwhelmed to the point she can't form a coherent sentence.

Sumire wanting Boruto or wanting Sarada to be with Boruto means nothing
when we saw what happened to Sasuke after Sakura locked on to him, regardless of the other fangirls wanting the same
