According to Boruto's appearance in the flashforward he already fought a huge battle before even fighting Kawaki

first his scar:

Who the fk did Boruto fight before Kawaki ? Who did this damage to Boruto? An otsutsuki? any idea?

He's probably fought Kawaki multiple times and received that scar in one of those battles. As for the torn clothes I honestly don't think Kawaki would be attacking the village alone but if he did look at it; they probably skirmished multiple times before that scene.

No actually, in episode 2 Boruto showed the exact opposite, unlike Naruto, who wanted everybody to notice him and get attention from them, boruto was just introducing himself kinda like Naruto's way but it was never meant to make everyone pay attention to him....this is one of the differences between Naruto and Boruto...
