I think hinata’s hair color on boruto is better makes him more unique . The yellow hair is wayyy tooo similar to naruto

I'm pretty sure it was done like that so it was made to look like a leaf. I like it. Nowhere as slick as a hairstyle like Minato's, which is more in tune to what I would have picked, but I like it.

It would've been cooler but for that he'd need Karin as his mother. Which may have happened had Hinata died in the war and Neji would still be alive as well.

I do personally prefer Boruto's design, but I do have to respect Naruto's Part 1 designs. They had much more personality and detail than what came later, but I do understand why Kishimoto would do the change. It makes drawing these characters easier and, therefore, faster. Wouldn't be the first time he did that anyway....*cough*goggles*cough*

Nah Karin and Naruto would've allowed for some Uzumaki clan revival potential. Naruto doesn't really have the Uzumaki traits that his mother and Karin possess strong lifeforce etc and possible fuinn jutsu knowledge/ability. Red hair would symbolise that and Boruto could learn some cool techs.

Anyway I don't think it's weirder than Choji and Karui some random pairings.

Well, its not weirder than that, but having a good chunk of the series thrown at whether Naruto is gonna end up with Hinata or Sakura only to go for a crack pairing instead would've been...disappointing to say the least. Besides, double clans allow for more potential. Boruto can have both a dojutsu and a special seal that way, even if the seal is not directly related to the Uzumaki for all we know.

Naruto doesn't really care about any clan affiliations with the Uzumaki clan though. He wouldn't care to revive it.

He does not have any personal relationship with Karin, and the two aren't really compatible in terms of personality either.

OT: I don't get why people always complain about Boruto's slight resemblance to Naruto. Boruto is his son. It is natural for him to resemble Naruto. He does not look like a clone of Naruto either, and if you say that he does then you have vision problems and should see a doctor, because Naruto and Boruto are clearly distinguishable.
