In your opinion what type of border will look good ?

IMO No border is better on an avatar like this. Because the white and black don't fit the rest of the avatar you have which is all colorful, if you look at the avatar of Yato, it fits perfectly because it has no dotted border, which would make it more messy compared to the rest of his avatar which is clean.
