Bootable USB drive

Hey guys, I'm current running windows 8.1.1 and Ubuntu 14.04, and I am unable to create a bootable OS X Mavericks usb drive. I've tried in windows and ubuntu, but I cannot boot or read the drive. (an 8gb kingston datatravler 2.0) Any ideas and/or solutions? Thanks.

You can create the Bootable Drive only from a Mac U_U.

Check the boot order of the BIOS , make sure USB device is the first booting device .

if this doesn't work try googling your problem , there could be others who have the same problem as you and maybe a solution too .

I never made a bootable disk of Mac image.I did windows bootable disk using PowerISO and did Linux using Unetbootin on Linux and LiLi on windows.There might be similar apps for it.
