Books and links

One of the things I like about Kishi's stories, is where he gets his inspiration from.
From Myths, Buddism, Hinduism and other stories.
I would like to read up on these stories and I was hoping that some people here, have some recommendations for books to read and/or some links/urls with great info. Preferably with translations in Dutch, but I dont mind reading English.

I love that , if you find what is Kishimoto's inspiration , you can make deductions and be happy when you see that you were right or perplex cause you were wrong.

I love to analyse his draws:
In that thread , we saw Sasuke's latest ability coming analysing the statue behind him in 671 (especially the item it is holding : trishul+paintbrush) that have a lot of similarities with Shiva:

I think I won't be shocked seing his next ability given that this statue has something like the Yata mirror on his chest!

It's not easy to find his inspirations cause he takes his ideas from a lot of great stories (Japan History , buddhism , shintoism , hinduism , japanese folklore like Kaguya and the tale of the bamboo cutter...)
