book 3 not doing so good

Despite what I thought was a great startoff for the season the polls are looking pretty bleak. With a little over 1 million views(pretty low compared to previous books) nick decided to drop 2 New episodes per week. Seems like they want to get it over with. Even though it's being rushed imho with the leak of episodes 3-6 in Spanish it seems like their hand got forced. Leaks have plagued the series over all 3 books. And since most don't watch it live... I'm a little worried.

I wouldn't worry too much. I think the cause of the low ratings was:

1) They announced it a week before it was released. This is barely enough time for all the fans to hear about it or find out when it was being released.

2) Bad advertising - they only had a few promos and they weren't shown as often on TV. If they showed the promos more often more people would've tuned in. I would've never known it was being shown of I wasn't subscribed to this girl on YouTube that does news updates on Korra.

OT: I saw the premiere episodes and thought they were great.

ima be upset if they end it before the whole things over. but after the first book i decided, unless they pick up a war or something, it wont live up to the first series

Polls and views don't matter anymore. A. They already signed the 4 book contract back when Season 1 did so well. B. downloads and streams impact viewer numbers and skewer the actual popularity numbers. C. Good shows with loyal fans get cult followings after cancellations and are often revived. D. Polls don't count OnDemand and Fios views, just because someone missed it on the air date doesn't mean they don't want to watch it.

We'll get all 4 books no need to worry.

I honestly think this is mainly the result of confusion around the release dates and leaks.

Suddenly out of the blue there are three episodes, while there are twice as much already in Spanish =/ it's difficult to get got view ratings if people don't know when they have to watch the episodes. For some reason TLA & LoK always have had severe leaking issues, but this is a bit too much.

I remember with Book 3 of TLA the first few episodes aired weekly, but then nothing for months and then again suddenly several episodes on the same day. That book aired extremely irregularly.

OT: that was messed up how these eps got leaked though it really made the series not so exciting at first but i must say i love how the story is going so far. if anything if they keep up the good work and not end this book with a weak conclusion then ima give it a 5 star rate.
