I would argue that saying "vanilla game" implies mountainous tbh. But in the sense it is intended, setups vary from game to game(I think it would be called vanilla+)

The problem with your theory is that :
1. It is not true. I am innocent
2. You trust your theory too much, the same way you believe Toujo's role-Chariot must be town.

That means you have both Haze and Chariot as your town core and in your eyes you have nailed down the Mafia. In your eyes mafia is me and Naomi. In d2 you were not willing to vote Naomi at all, so she was a strong town read for you right?
If you think now in D3 that the only combo possible is me and Naomi, then it means you were wrong about your town read on her on D2. Why then are you not at least questioning your strong townread on toujo's role-now Chariot?

Ok so there is no rule as to a vanilla game having both cop and doctor?

Yes I am willing to BET on you being cop and your reads being correct.
Based on this I am willing to think that Michelle did not give mafia two powers: the one of blocking a read and also showing up as town when being copped. Does that make sense?
Therefore a pair of Naomi and Toujo role-now Chariot forms.

If Michelle gave mafia both powers I mentioned above, then town is fried because there are other mafia combos possible. See spoiler for details of possible combos.

I personally am very conflicted about Fuji's playstyle so I have been arguing a lot with them but they will not be my vote for this DP. The chances for Chariot role to flip mafia are bigger
