I'm not stating facts, but the use of manga scans have been used to back up my claims
Hago was a Juubi Jin. Ashura inherited Hagoromo's body, the body of a Juubi Jin. Mokuton grants regeneration, chakra cloak grants TSB, Sage Mode enhances both.

Naruto who shares parallels with both Hagoromo and Ashura now has two children
Kishi might have intentionally made the parallel with Ashura, but I think that Boruto and Himawari might represent a new Senju and Uzumaki similar to Sarada being the new Uchiha. It's possible for Naruto to have two sides of his power divided between his children
He was able to use Sage Mode like a Senju and control bijuu chakra like an Uzumaki. In comparison, Ashura was able to use bijuu chakra like an Uzumaki and I believe he had Mokuton like Hashirama since he's supposed to have healing feats and the JuubiJin's body.
So if Uzumaki and Senju inherited two different powers from Ashura then normally there should be a high chance for one of Naruto's children to inherit a Kurama cloak from being influenced by Kyuubi chakra and Naruto's body.
I don't mean KCM obviously but something like this would be more realistic
Kushina can't be used as an example because she never had Hagoromo's body or a jinchuuriki parent. Naruto has three sources of powerful Yang chakra : Kurama, Ashura/Uzumaki and Hagoromo. And from what we've seen, RSM users tend to pass down their abilities.
Imo it's possible for Bolt to learn Sage Mode, unlock the Kurama cloak and mix both together. It would be a miniature version of BSM, kinda like how BSM is a minature version of Ashura's cloak
It would also follow the rules of "power-up" Naruto's RSM = Hago's RSM > Ashura's RSM > Naruto's BSM > Bolt's KSM
In my opinion if Boruto unlocks a chakra cloak he should be capable of using mini bijudama
That combined with Sasuke's training and a few Hyuga techs would be a perfect blend of feats that don't involve country busting jutsu but still require Kage level of skill.
Now I'm not claiming these are Bolt's feats but anything is possible, Ashura was able to use bijuu abilities without having the bijuu in him and I think the parent's body plays a big factor in how much power the children inherit..
