His issues do seem to be a bit forced to me, but otherwise I can't say I dislike him, at least, not yet.

He seems bratty, he lacks that firm maternal figure , and Naruto isn't there enough. Sarada will probably help to rear Bolt, as Sakura did with Naruto.

Sarada herself is in mental trauma of never seeing her father after birth!
