Nah he was always like that he used to cheat even in the games he was the kind of person who looks for short cuts. I think SP started okay with him in the early anime then started moving towards filler. Even in today's episode he still has a dislike for his dad and wouldn't let him sort out his mess. So the dislike for his dad has been there for a long time.

He's even got unlimited chakra each time a shadow clone is destroyed it takes that much of your chakra with it so when 3 clones are gone he should lose 3/4 of his chakra,yet he's still pulling off jutsu after jutsu as if the chakra is still there. His chakra is meant to be less than Sarada's(by the databook) and she gets drained but somehow he's okay.

Its a joke SP should've kept him at an acceptable level instead of adding massive amounts of filler.

Maybe but Naruto had a thing for girls and Sasuke didn't give a F so we knew they weren't gay. However these 2 have extremely weird moments with each other and none with girls, with all that is happening in our time I wouldnt be surprised.

Nah. Boruro looks for short cuts, but he does so without anyone getting hurt and his moral compass staying intact.

When he used the Kote device he was ashamed of of his actions.

You are misunderstanding Boruto's character and essentially defining it solely on that one all-time low point of his (the chunin exams).

Boruto cheated in the chunin exams mainly to get Naruto's attention. I'm not saying that this was a good or justifiable reason to cheat, but that was his reason nonetheless. He doesn't look for a way to cheat in every facet of life as you seem to believe he does. As for the videogames, (as a gamer myself, I know this), the use of cheat codes in casual settings (as opposed to competitive settings like tournaments) is not looked so down upon as cheating on things like exams. In fact, you can even buy things like action replays (cheat code devices) at mainstream video game stores.

Boruto was not trying to impress Naruto or anything like that in that game of shinobi bout. He had no reason to cheat.

Now you'd be right in saying that Boruto looks for easy ways out and is to some degree lazy. However, Boruto's general laziness is generally still legal in whatever facet or activity he is acting it. The cheating, as I said before, was a one time thing mainly to get to Naruto.


One more thing:

Who cares whether or not an episode is filler? Why would they care? Kishi isn't a deity and neither are Kodashi and Ikemoto.

Boruto is important for Toneri for whatever reason he up to.. Mitsuki is just the tools for his ambition.. sad but this plausible.

^ your reaching what I was pointing to was Boruto, games and winning. His character is not above lieing and to expect him to be above cheating for ease of accomplishing his tasks is false.

Boruto looks for the easy win he does so and demonstrates that even when he's playing other games via the Boruto movie.
He moves past this phase later in the movie and as the manga progresses.

Your right I don't care much but some people have been posting threads about Boruto being nerfed based on filler. I'm objecting to that it's created confusion that is all.
