He should remain in psychiatric unit.
Though I can see why he would be a criminal since he basically stole a body that money was used to place them in a graveyard.
But really it doesn't make him any different then what scientists do if you think about.
Scientists would dig up bodies like Ancient Egyptian coffins which were in secure tombs, which protected mummified bodies from intruders.Studying their DNA and then they showcase the body in museums for everyone to see and the items that was placed in the tomb.

I guess the question would be do mummies have the right to privacy ?
