Sage of Six paths used Chibaku tensei on ten tails body, creating the moon.
So ten tails body is sealed within the moon, it didn't become the moon itself.

Bansho Ten'in = Heavenly Pull.
Chibaku Tensei = Planetary Devastation, which created the moon, and thus trapped the Jubi's body.

Im sorry to burst to your bubble mugiwara. when the sage split up the juubi charka into the nine tailed beasts. the juubi body didnt have any charka cuz it was split up and the sage blasted its body all the way in the sky were its body couldnt be reached and it become the moon. now it isnt mentioned that he used chibaku tensei so all your doing is assuming thats what happened. also im pretty sure the juubi body itself is the moon. with chibaku tensei as we seen when pain used it it takes the earth soil rocks etc to build it wouldnt that leave a gigantic hole in the earth?

Nagato states that the SO6P used CT to create the moon, considering he has the Rinnegan and he's read the tablets, I consider that as evidence IMO.

he just said he created the moon it says nothing about him using that technique. again i still think that the body of the juubi itself is the moon. like madara states in this chapter

Oh right, I watched the Invasion of Pain in the anime, and if I recall it said the SO6P created the moon with CT, but if the manga states otherwise, I agree. I completely forgot about Madara saying that. What I think though is that the moon may still be made of/from the Jubi, but to get "up there", Rikudo used CT, "blasting the chakra away" if you get me.

yea for sure im not arguing its just confusing when madara says it happened like this but nagato says something esle. but what we do know is the sage created the moon and the juubi is up there. cuz there alot of things that havent been explained in detail about the sage just nit picks here and there.

Gods can die technically because Jesus [many believe he was "god" on earth] died, he was just resurrected after 3 days, for all we know SO6P could be still alive, we hardly know anything about him, so he could be still alive.
But yes he is a mythical feature in the Narutoverse, but he is revered as a God; Madara states he is "beyond human" in terms of Naruto.

Yes but we are discussing "gods" here, and .: applies to bounds OUTSIDE Naruto, so he can be contrasted to Jesus, my point is that Gods can die, it happens in mythology, it was a mere example.
Also I'd say SO6P is more of a myth than a legend until we get any evidence of his existence.
