As kiba saw Shikamaru's Shadow approach him, he dropped a flash bomb right infront of him so he runs over it, the flash bomb that kiba dropped Blinded Shikamaru but at the same time it causes Kiba's shadow to disappear for moments because of the light caused by the flash Bomb which frees Kiba from Shikamaru's shadow if he was caught by it, as soon as Kiba did that he quickly threw the kunai that was in his hand at Shikamaru, and quickly focused his Earth Chakra infront of and caused a sharp pillar to rise and charge towards Shikamaru's Chest but Kiba stopped the jutsu mid way and cause it to go down to the ground right between Shikamaru's Legs.
