His lyrics are amazing. The man that plugged in an entire generation when he went electric. Opening the door for people like, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, and Neil Young. He in my opinion is the most influential figure in music history. I can't take criticism worth $hit but I will make an exception here.

:sy: the younger generation of the sixties didn't have much of a say back then. But it was because of Dylan's popularity and messages in his songs that gave them a voice. He took part in the civil rights movement as well as protesting against the vietnam war. He went electric at a folk festival. Which people hated since they considered folk music traditional and thought dylan was ruining it. But instead made it better and changed the way people can sing nowadays.
