Like I had said, if it hasn't been shown in the manga as of yet, how would you be able to prove that he can infact do said clones while in Bm mode? It is just like Kakashi's kamui you cannot prove that he possibly can phase through harmful attacks whilts showing the ability to suck targets at a close enougj distance just like how Obito does his.

Thats why I said Naruto would attack his Susanoo from the back and sides - Yata Mirror protects only front of Susanoo.

Im not assuming anything - its simple logic. And no, he made clones after BM. At first he made one SM clone in order to locate the rods. Later, he made 5 KCM clones and send them to the Bijuus with his tails.
