So, we all know about momoshiki warning boruto about his inevitable fate

but do you think it's tied with boruto's doujutsu? If so, is this foreshadowing the boruto will awaken a full set in the future? We know he only has one doujutsu in the flash forward, but who knows when the village will be destroyed in the timeskip. Boruto vs kawaki could be happening in the beginning of the timeskip for all we know.

I do believe he's referring to his dojutsu I'm not sure how that's foreshadowing he will have a complete set tho

Also this reminds of the rinnegan toneri is saying it can save the world while momo is saying it will destroy it

He said blue "eyes", that's why i asked if momo is foreshadowing a complete set.

Well depends if getting a complete will make his eyes stronger or if it will be a necessity, im sure he'll have two dojutsu in his eyes one day I'm not sure they will be the same tho

We do see boruto only activate one dojutsu against kawakii a guy who supposedly defeated Naruto so it seems one eye will be enough for him for a long while

Yeah, i was just asking if that hints at a full set. The prophecy could be interpreted in a bunch of ways, so it could be something else.

I kind of feel like boruto will get a ms equivalent power up and he might need both eyes to activate his chakra avatar

Sarada mentioned blue eyes , perhaps she like blue eyes, Kawaki has blue eyes, so does Naruto. Sarada was taking over Naruto seat, so kawaki decided to eliminate Naruto to help Sarada reach her goal and hopefully win her affections, boruto was pissed about both so they started fighting

Good question. I can't say for sure, but I wanna see what happens.

I wanna see an evil-ruto

I honestly don't think he was specially referencing his dojutsu during that scene. I really think he was just telling him about his fate, he sees something in his eyes that tells him that borutos destined for something

Toneri already referred to Boruto's dojutsu in the singular form. Momoshiki's prognostication is probably more metaphorical than that, something more along the lines of the fact that Boruto's fate will be intertwined with his lineage (ie. connection to the Ootsutsuki through both his parents).

Same, boruto going rouge would be interesting.

I've read other interpretations that boruto's blue eyes is a metaphor for his humanity or something, like it'll be holding him back which will cost him everything. Does that seem more likely?

Momoshiki does refer to him as "Son of Man", so he could be alluding that. Perhaps he tries to follow in his father's footsteps in talking down opponents (like with Sumire) and it ultimately backfires. The reference could really be anything at this point.

Yea, I'd lean more towards that than it being related to his dojutsu

He called boruto "human child" in the viz, but not a huge difference tho. Tnj could backfire horribly, huh? That'd actually be an interesting twist than what we usually got in shippuden. I agree with that.

Same. I wanna see Boruto mature in a different way than Naruto.

Naruto faced situations as a child, and he was somewhat mature in his understanding. Although, he never left a friend behind. Hence the whole Sasuke thing.

Boruto on other hand, I would like to see him be the one who is 'lost' per se, instead of him having to save his best friend from the darkness. I would like to see Boruto trip over himself.

I feel like the seal could be a good step in the right direction if Boruto can't control himself like Sasuke with the CS. Crossing my fingers for Evil-ruto.

We do know that the Boruto series will get darker in the future, so I think Boruto's growth in facing bad experiences will happen when he's older. I feel like shit is gonna get real when that scar is incoming
