Oh and he gave approval ? And he said that The Last was cannon just for the sake of NaruHina fangirls
He said it was canon on his word of approval, Kishi didn't really write much, the staff mostly did, befor publishing into a movie, they had show their work to Kishi, and it was oftenly revised it until Kishi finally approves it.

But apparently this novel does speak about the movie itself, why would they referred Naruto being confined there??
I don't say that they're not connected, I say that I don't accept Kishi "canonize" it like that, he had no part in the movie and he can't jsut say after so many years since its release, "I make it official" and as the guy above said, he only did the artwork in that novel, so he didn't even have any role in its plot to begin with. It's a filler novel based on a filler movie.

Well yea I heard that Kishi oversees the novel just like the Last movie before giving approval. And yea I understand the timeline messed up, but this isn't the first time, look at how RTN turned out, these inconsistencies will always apply to Kishi logic
Meh it's not that Kishi can't keep the movies consistent with the main story. It's just that he doesn't want them to. He can pull it off right as seen with the Last wich is canon while the other ones were simply a cool and a fun what-if scenario. RtN didn't fit in the main story and yet it was epic.

Fact of the matter is...Kishimoto can do whatever he wants in regards to Naruto. If he says it's canon, then it's canon. We as fans/readers just have to accept this despite inconsistency.

No it's different. I accept that when Kishi works on something indirectly or directly, his material becomes canon but in this specific case he had nothing to do with the movie and as it was already stated, Kishi only did the artwork for the novel, he didn't even work on it so how can you say that it's canon? Secondly, I have nothing against fillers but it's just stupid to believe that this canon under any way. For me, it's just a sort of entertainment which I don't want to label in a specific way.

I don't think it can just suddenly become canon. there were afew inconsistencies in that movie, like i remember naruto forming a rasengan like minato or jiraiya would.
Naruto has shown the ability to construct one handed rasengans.

I. VOTE1
II. Kakuzu entrance
III. Sage Mode
IV. Vote 2

The reason for his horrible chakra control is the Kyuubi, however, I strongly believe that Kishimoto portrays the Ashura existence in Naruto by allowing him to perform that technique with another clone (cooperation).

This Kakashi novel in regards to Inari (That kid from Zabuza arc) referred that Naruto was once being held as a captive and they even gave more indepth to the Bloodprison. I know these novels are from the Bloodprison author but I heard that kishi was heavily present throughout these novels just like Naruto the Last. So does that mean the same thing apply to Blood Prison Movie??
Just because the author decided to connect a couple of his works, that isn't a sign of anything. It's nothing more than a subtle way of getting people to buy another book.

If you want the rest of the details behind that incident, go buy Blood Prison!
