Agreed, people fail to realize that Sasuke was nerfed pretty hard in that fight. He had many setbacks

If sasuke was against a fully bloodlusted naruto in VOTE 2 he would pretty much have had to take the bijuu powers immediately. if he failed to absorb them before naruto goes balls to the wall or naruto prevented it then he is dead.

if sasuke succeeds then it would most likely end the same way it did in cannon

I agree. Karin noted the same thing, Sasuke feeds off the hatred and anger so if he were bloodlusted the fight wouldn't have been nearly as long as it was. Naruto's strength comes from his bonds/friendship, if he were bloodlusted it doesn't even matter something will go amiss for him.

Sasuke had bloodlust to kill Naruto, he just couldn't pull it off. While Naruto was just trying to match his attacks. Bloodlust Naruto would've kill Sasuke, cause yet again he went into a battle without full knowledge of his power an lost because of it.
Naruto's power was dumb down so that the fight would be on equal terms.

Sasuke not having a mastered Rinne doesn't change the fact that he had intent to kill with his new power a couldn't pull it off.

This bout of intent to kill goes to Naruto IMO!.

They'd likely both die like Indra and Ashura. If not then Naruto likely kills him like Hashirama did Madara. Depending on whether or not Sasuke does the izanagi trick too, he'll come back and the cycle continues like with Madara.

But honestly I'm glad Naruto didn't fight him all out like that. Plot and story aside, I think it would've been a much better fight if SASUKE took it down a notch. Wanting to kill him so bad is probably why he didn't get his way, same for Indra and Madara. But then again that was the only way he was going to do what he wanted so I can dig it

Naruto fights worse bloodlusted (so does Sasuke but Uchiha emotion power) and given that he's far more reckless like this he'd just waste too much chakra. What would happen if he used his biggest techs missed or worse got swapped right into them. This isn't one of those series where bloodlust makes high/top tiers better tends to make them worse.

They are leagues ahead of what they were then. Rage tends to ruin strategic thinking and then this will just become an even more dull version of their final fight. Raging back then for Nardo nearly cost his life thanks to the fox taking over. And i said emo power backed sasuke.
