* Description: Much like the basic water-walking technique. User concentrates a large amount of Wind chakra into their feet. They are then able to move much faster. The user can also create large gusts of wind and ride them or run on them to move around at great speed while staying in the air and off of the ground.
Follows and expands on the basic principle of water walking...
A more advanced technique than water walking.
Like water walking, a user must gather chakra into their feet and constantly feed the appropriate amount. The release of chakra must accommodate for the weight of their body. It is more difficult to wind surf because wind has much less surface tension than water.

Spoiler

Unlike water walking, normal chakra does not work for this technique. The user must use condensed wind element chakra in order to bond and react with the air. It also takes more chakra and is considered a much higher level technique. It requires a great amount of specialized training and chakra control to master.
The user creates powerful gusts of wind in the air and using this technique, can ride on the wind currents... through mastery of wind they can make the currents change direction and control their movement in mid air. This jutsu takes alot of practice and balance just like real surfing. The Technique gets its name from the appearance of the user surfing on air.
