i want to throw out my idea and explanation why certain people can stay out of the I.T.
i'll probably get alot of hate but oh well. i'll explain my reasons.
ThisPicture above shows that the guy talking woke everyone up. they rubbed their eyes and awoke and seen the light of I.T. Tthe Father and Daughter seem to be awake at the time and they saw the light as well.
this is where my points come in.
Madara: "This Light can shine even through the Shadows You Cannot Hide" Meaning no where you go the light will always be there till the light is done and goes out.
People that are surviving Blocking I.T
- the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and the 4th Hokage. Why?
1. they are Dead and they can easily slip by the infinite t.
- Team 7. Why?
1. Sasuke's Susano he created using his eye is a covering them with DARKNESS. and is protecting him from the light.
Shadows - a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface
Darkness - the partial or total absence of light.
the above defintion of darkness helps me out in my idea.
"Sunglasses or sun glasses are a form of protective eyewear designed primarily to prevent bright sunlight and high-energy visible light from damaging or discomforting the eyes. They can sometimes also function as a visual aid, as variously termed spectacles or glasses exist, featuring lenses that are colored, polarized or darkened. In the early 20th century they were also known as sun cheaters (cheaters being an American slang term for glasses)."

1. His Darkened Glasses he finally has on is saving him.
2. its possible being a jinchuriki and gaining chakra from Samehada is also helping out here.
his glasses blocks most of the extreme light and helping him stay out of the infinite T. everyone who has fallen doesn't wear Shades (sunglasses).
the people who will say otherwise will state. "oh the Light pierces the shades", no the light is being blocked by the shades resulting him to be safe from the extreme light which causes the dreamworld to re-act.
When you close your eyes Light fades away.
Itachi vs Naruto didn't matter where naruto looked he was still caught, this was before he had Sage, Senjutsu.
Naruto will eventually go outside of the Susano and fight with his Senjutsu with his eyes closed.
Summary.
Closing your eyes will help Block the light from Affecting you. (which will only help naruto)
Killer Bee's Glasses is helping him blocking out the light, with the benefits of still being a jin.
being an EDO will cancel the effects of being caught in the I.T.

hopefully my points hep understand that Darkness is not Shadows and Shadows are not Darkness......
to point out the sunglasses theory. Tenten also mentions "i need to find a cloud ninja to understand more about these Sage tool weapons"
the only Cloud Ninja's know or able to use them with alot of chakra or able to in my opinion are these below:
- Raikage A (Caught I.T'd)
- Killer Bee (Alive, and Protected by his OP Shades)
- Darui (Caught I.T'd)
- Tenten (The Fan, but she was drained using it. i know she isn't but she used the sage's tools )
